I attended the FutureHeights/Heights Observer Annual Meeting last week.
During the Q&A portion, I asked two very important questions, neither of which were answered.

The guest speaker merely said "Thank you", and "moderator" Mark Chupp said, "I have nothing to do with The Civic Commons".
Then someone, the guest speaker, I think, said if I came to that night's reception, I might get an actual answer.

So, being part of The Crowd, and getting straight answers to very serious questions, seems to require a $35 buy-in. Minimum. That night, anyways.
No. That's not Civic Engagement. Or any of the other flowery things those guys claim.
