CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Bulk trash collection will resume in Cleveland Heights on August 1.

Bulk trash collection will be held once per month, during the first full week of each month. Bulk trash should be left outside on a resident's regular trash day.

"Bulk will be limited to four items per pick-up. If you have more than four items or you need bulk pick-up on a day that is not your regularly scheduled day, you can call to schedule a special pick-up for a fee. Call 216-691-7300 to arrange your special pick-up," the city said in a letter to residents.

When bulk pick-up resumes, bulk drop-off at the Service Center on Superior Road will be discontinued.

  • Appliances
  • Household items

Here are examples of unacceptable items for bulk pick-up:

  • Demolition materials
  • Construction materials
  • Hazardous waste (including oil-based paints)
  • Bricks
  • Rocks
  • Computers
  • Electronics
