Cedar-Lee Redevelopment Project Takes Step Forward
A 4.8 acre stretch of city-owned land is being targeted for development by the city of Cleveland Heights.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH - Cleveland Heights announced a partnership with developers Cedar Lee Connection (CLC) this week.
City officials have been looking to redevelop a 4.8 acre site of city-owned land in the Cedar-Lee district, near where Meadowbrook Boulevard meets Lee Road. Cedar Lee Connection, which is comprised of Sequoia Realty Corp. and Snavely Group, submitted a proposal for the land and were selected by Cleveland Heights City Council. LDA Architects have been designated as the architectural firm for the project.

The 4.8 acre site is actually two parcels of land, a 3.73 acre parking garage that connects to Cedar Road, and runs behind several buildings on Lee Road, and 1.07 acre site of vacant land at the intersection of Lee Road and Meadowbrook Boulevard.
Cleveland Heights officials said they expect to hold several community meetings about the project and will be gathering input from residents and businesses along the one-mile corridor that comprises Cedar-Lee.
