Cedar Road—South Overlook Intersection Closing Friday
Cleveland Heights Police shared a letter from developer Perk Construction saying the intersection would be closed for 5 to 7 days.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Construction on Cedar Rd. will lead to the closing of the South Overlook-Cedar intersection on Friday, weather permitting. In a post on Facebook, Cleveland Heights Police revealed the closure would last for five to seven days.
Drivers heading south that encounter the closed intersection will be detoured south on Delaware Dr., west on Cecil Pl., and then north on South Overlook. Drivers heading north that hit the closed intersection will be detoured along North Park Blvd. to Ambleside Dr. to Cedar Rd.
Prior to work being done, advanced warning signs will be placed along Cedar and South Overlook. Additional notices of work will be sent if the plan for closing changes.

Perk Construction is handling the work on the street. The company had already started work on Cedar earlier in July. On July 14, the company instituted a new traffic pattern on Cedar between Norfolk Rd. and Hancourt Dr., limiting traffic to one lane east and one lane west.
