Child Porn Charges Announced Against University Heights Man
The Department of Justice said a 24-year-old is being charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH — A University Heights man is being accused of having child pornography on his Apple iPhone 6 and laptop computer. The Department of Justice said the man also distributed child pornography.
Jacob Maclin, 24, of University Heights, has been charged with receiving, distributing and possessing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
The charges against Maclin were announced this week, after he was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security.

The Department of Justice's release said Maclin received and sent out child pornography computer files in 2017. The pornography featured real minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, DOJ said.
In April 2018, Maclin allegedly had child pornography on his Apple iPhone 6 cell phone, and his Dell Inspiron laptop computer, the indictment against him said.
