CHUH Middle Schools Renovation Plans Presented

Moody Nolan and Turner Construction outlined the construction plan for Roxboro and Monticello middle schools.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Board of Education approved design documents for renovations at the district's middle schools. The plan outlined by Moody Nolan and Turner Construction have Monticello and Roxboro re-opening for classes in 2019.

Construction on the two buildings will begin in March 2018, according to the district. Renovations will include new LED lighting, new water source heat pumps for each classroom, new wiring, new sound receptacles and much more. Both schools will also get new HVAC systems.

In addition to the overall building improvements, classrooms in each school are also slated for some upgrades, including a fresh coat of paint, new carpet and ceiling tiles, and new marker boards. Workers will also install new fire alarms and life safety systems.
