Cleveland Heights Cancels All Summer Programs
No block parties, no Cain Park performances, no summer sports....the new coronavirus has led the city to cancel it all.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β Cleveland Heights has cancelled all of its summer programs and activities due to the new coronavirus pandemic. Cain Park's summer season, all summer camps, Cumberland Pool, youth and adult sports and Safety Town are all cancelled.
The Community Center will remain closed to the public and there will be no room rentals over the summer. Picnic shelter rentals and field rentals are also on hold.
Additionally, there will be no block parties this summer. No streets will be barricaded and no police or fire units will be available for street events.

"We do not take these steps lightly, but ensuring the health and safety of our community is our top priority. It is our hope that all residents and visitors will continue practicing social distancing, keeping any gatherings to ten people or fewer, and wear your face coverings while in public," the city said in a statement.
Cleveland Heights officials will meet over the next few weeks to devise creative, safe summer activities for the community.
