Cleveland Heights Hiring Police Officers
Applications for the position may be turned in starting Feb. 21. Only the first 100 applicants will be considered, so get those apps in.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH - Want to help police your community? Feel like you can help the boys in blue connect with the people they patrol? Well, Cleveland Heights is hiring police officers to join their force.
You'll want to get your application in as soon as possible because the department is only accepting the first 100 filed applications. You can begin turning in your application Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. Completed applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Feb. 21 and March 7.
To qualify for a position you must be at least 21 and no older than 36. You must also be a citizen of the United States.

The filing fee for the application is $25, payable in cash only. The fee is non-refundable and you pay it when your turn in your application.
The examination for possible police officers will be held March 25 at 9:30 a.m. at the Cleveland Heights Community Center, 1 Monticello Blvd. There will also be a physical examination held at Cuyahoga Community College on April 9. The cost of that exam is $60. Applicants will need to turn in a form showing they completed the exam by April 14.

Finally, to be eligible for the position you must be from Ohio and specifically one of these counties: Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Summit, Lake, or Geauga. If you're from Cleveland Heights, you'll have five points added to a passing exam.
