Cleveland Heights Man Dies In Valentine's Day Car Accident
Two people were killed in a car crash on Feb. 14. One of the victims called Cleveland Heights home.
CLEVELAND — A Cleveland Heights man was killed in a Valentine's Day car crash in Cleveland, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner announced. A second person was also killed in the accident.
Roberto Russell, 54, was killed in a car accident on E. 93rd. At 8 p.m. A Kia Forte driving north on E. 93rd was speeding and then drifted left off center, police said. When the Kia went left off center, it hit a Toyota Camry going south on E. 93rd, according to police. The Camry spun and then hit another car.
Russell and Deron Grant, 27, from Garfield Heights, were both declared dead on Feb. 14. The driver of the Kia is in the hospital in serious condition, according to a Cleveland police spokesperson.

Police said the driver will be taken into custody when or if they are released from the hospital.
