Cleveland Heights' Naked Donald Trump Statue to be Auctioned Oct. 26
The Los Angeles statue sold on Saturday for $22,000.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH - The notorious Naked Donald Trump statue is being auctioned off Oct. 26 by Gray's Auctioneers & Appraisers. The Los Angeles iteration of the statue sold for $22,000 on Oct. 22.
Cleveland Heights police "arrested" the sculpture when it was first displayed and artist Joshua "Ginger" Monroe had to travel to the city to bail out his artwork.
The Friends of the Coventry Village Facebook page says that proceeds from the sale will benefit public art funding in the Coventry Village Special Improvement District (the neighborhood where the sculpture was placed), city-wide public art projects to be developed by community arts nonprofit Heights Arts, and Monroe, who created the pieces pro bono.
