Cleveland Heights Plans Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration
The event will feature essays and art inspired by MLK. Additionally, trash collection will be delayed one day by the holiday.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH - The city is planning a celebration of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 16. The event will take place at the Cleveland Heights Community Center at 7 p.m.
"A Celebration of His Life and Legacy - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." will feature student winners from the city's MLK art, essay and poetry contests. Additionally, all city offices, including the Cleveland Heights Community Center and Cleveland Heights Municipal Court will be closed on Monday.
The city also says that refuse collection will be delayed one day due to the holiday. The updated schedule is below.
