Cleveland Heights Resident Selected as 2017 Bank of America Student Leader
Cleveland Heights resident Christine Roberts selected to the 2017 Bank of America Student Leader Program

Cleveland Heights High School junior Christine Roberts is one of five Cleveland-area teens selected to be part of the 2017 Bank of America Student Leaders program this summer. The program awarded the students a paid, eight-week summer internship at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and a trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Bank of America Student Leadership Summit. The internships provided students with valuable work experience while also supporting the nonprofits with extra help this summer.
Christine has devoted much of her high school career to supporting programs to help minority students succeed both inside and out of the classroom. Christine is a member of the Minority Student Achievement Program and recently attended the organization’s national conference. In the future, she hopes to expand her knowledge of ways to be more inclusive and to bring awareness to the issues minority students face on a daily basis. Christine is also a student mentor and a member of National Honor Society.
