Cleveland Heights Safety Forces Night Set For Aug. 1

Interact with local police and firefighters during the free community event.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” Cleveland Heights will host its fourth annual Safety Forces Night on August 1. The event will give residents a chance to interact with local police and firefighters, while enjoying giveaways and free food.

Safety Forces Night will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Cleveland Heights Community Center, 1 Monticello Blvd. Attendees will be able to interact with department equipment and tools from both the fire and police departments.

There will also be information on personal safety and various fire topics handed out. The Cleveland Heights Police Academy and Citizens Police Academy will provide literature and handouts on their organizations, as well. Attendees will also be treated to free hot dogs, pop, water, sno cones, T-shirts, balloon twister for kids, a bicycle raffle, and a caricature artist.

Residents who bring a bicycle to the event can get bicycle licenses free of charge from Cleveland Heights Police.
