Cleveland Heights State Official Holding Town Hall Meeting
State Rep. Janine Boyd will take part in a town hall forum on Wednesday afternoon.

CLEVELAND β Three state officials will hold a town hall on Cleveland's east side on Wednesday. The trio will discuss Ohio's budget, their bipartisan priorities and other legislative action in Columbus.
State Reps. Janine Boyd, from Cleveland Heights, and Stephanie Howse, from Cleveland, will be joined by State Senator Sandra Williams, from Cleveland, during the meeting. The event will be held at Fairhill Partners, 12200 Fairhill Road, and will start at 4:45 p.m.
βI hope you'll join Sen. Williams, Rep. Howse and myself to hear more about the state budget,β said Boyd. βI am honored that the General Assembly views two of my bills, House Bill (HB) 14, the Kinship Care Navigator Program, and HB 3, Aishaβs Law, so favorably that they would double the funding originally proposed by the governor."

Democrats are running town hall meetings throughout the state as part of a new program called Ohio Promise. Politicians are discussing their new framework and vision for the state.
"These are the kinds of promises we should be keeping to Ohioans. When it comes to our children who attend our public schools, because it is their choice to be a part of their communities through their schools, this budget fails them. Yet, all we hear in the halls of the House and Senate, and from the governor's office, is that no one wants to fail our children," Boyd added.
