Cleveland Heights Wants To Redevelop Part Of Cedar-Lee
The city said it is looking for proposals for the Cedar-Lee-Meadowbrook area.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Cleveland Heights is looking to redevelop the Cedar-Lee-Meadowbrook site, an area currently owned by the city. City Council authorized officials to begin seeking proposals for the site this week.
Located in the heart of the one of Cleveland Heights' most popular districts, Cedar-Lee, the Meadowbrook site currently consists of parking areas and vacant land. As proposals and developers emerge, the city has promised to create a shared dialogue with residents about the project.
"The City expects to receive highly creative ideas and approaches to produce a dense, vibrant, pedestrian-friendly and unique commercial, office, residential or potentially mixed-use development that leverages the placemaking opportunities of the site and the Cedar Lee District," the city said in a press release on Thursday.

To maximize this important District and this important project, Cleveland Heights seeks to partner with a qualified developer or development team possessing the vision, experience, and financial resources to carry out a wide-ranging development, and that is best suited to work collaboratively with the City to create and execute a development plan that accomplishes the goal of redeveloping this iconic site. Throughout the process, community outreach and communications will occur to hear from the current businesses and neighbors and to solicit their input and address any concerns.
