Coventry Village Seeks Chairs for Chair-ity Auction
Artists are to re-design chairs for the auction. In turn, 60% of any sale's proceeds will go to Coventry Village SID Public Arts Fund.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH - The Coventry Village Special Improvement District is looking for the completed chairs from artists who agreed to participate in the re-designing of chairs, benches, and stools for the upcoming Chair-ity Auction.
Completed chairs are due by Oct. 1, which is Friday. There were some delays that pushed this program back, but prior to the delays, chairs were due by Aug. 15.
The chairs can be made of wood, metal or plastic. Artists are asked to give each device its own fresh, artistic look. The final products will then be displayed at the opening of Heights Arts though no official date has been announced.

About 60 percent of each sale will benefit the Coventry Village SID Public Arts Fund. The other 40 percent will go to the artist. The Coventry Village SID Public Arts Fund assists in providing resources to create public art in the Coventry Village Special Improvement District.
