Cleveland Play House’s Script Club is everything you love about a book club - but with a play in the spotlight! First, check out a copy of the script from the Lee Road Branch and read it at home. Then join CPH Artistic Staff at the library for a free-flowing exploration of the story and characters, with special insight on how CPH artists take a play from page to stage! When the Hubbard siblings have the chance to strike it rich, not even the ties of blood or marriage are safe from their cold calculations and elaborate schemes. CPH’s 99th season begins with Lillian Hellman’s delicious drama of ambition and greed in the Deep South that warns us to keep our friends close – and our relatives closer. Registration opens Aug. 3.
