Dodson Receives Official Army All-American Football Invite
Cleveland Heights hosts special celebration in honor of Tigers offensive lineman

Cleveland Heights tackle Kyle Dodson was presented with an official invitation to the 2012 U.S. Army All-American Football Bowl game and given his Army All-American Jersey in a celebration held in his honor at the ’s South Gym on Monday afternoon.
Dodson, a Wisconsin recruit, was one of 90 players selected nationally for the Jan. 7 game at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. Dodson was originally selected for the team in August, according to highschoolrivals.com.
Dodson, who is ranked as one of the 20 best linemen in the country by rivals.com, has earned several postseason awards, including special mention on the All-Ohio high school football team and on the AP Northeast Lakes All-District football team.

“Kyle is a gift from God. He is a kid that has battled so much adversity and never gave up. He’s one of the finest young men I’ve ever had the privilege to coach,” Heights head football coach Jeff Rotsky said in a press release.
The Tigers after defeating last year's Division II state champion Maple Heights, 20-12, on the road to close the season and won the Lake Erie League title.
