Don King Uses Racial Slur, Tells White Women to Vote for Donald Trump During Rally
The former boxing promoter said the real enemy of the black community and white women wasn't Donald Trump, but the system.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH - During a rally for Donald Trump at Pastor Darrell Scott's church on Wednesday, former boxing promoter Don King made inflammatory racial comments, saying, "Every white woman should cast their vote for Donald Trump. Not Donald Trump the man, but to knock out the system to help him and get their rights."
King railed against a corrupt system, saying that white women and people of color had been systematically denied their rights. He said that it was a system of control, touching everything from an individual's mind to the courts of law. He punctuated his comments with a racial slur.
"The white woman and the slave...when the system was created they did not give them the rights. White women do not have their rights and they still don't have their rights. People of color don't have their rights," he said. "Donald Trumps says no. He says we're going back to inclusiveness."

During his introduction, he said said that when he was a young man he had been told to emulate white people to achieve success. He said he later learned that such emulation had no impact. "If you were poor, you were a poor negro ... I would use the N-word. If you were rich, you were a rich negro," he said.
King then punctuated his comments by saying, "If you're a dancing, sliding n----- ... sorry, negro...then that's what you are."

He also appealed more broadly to all black voters, saying their votes were too often given away lackadaisically and their votes were too often decided by party politics. He said that the black community was treating the effects of lacking rights, not seeking the cause of the symptom. He concluded by saying that black people needed Trump and that the system was the real enemy.
He also said Trump should not be vetted as a politician, but as a businessman.
