Elite Bistro Grand Opening On Lee Road On Saturday

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Elite Bistro will hold its grand opening on Saturday, the culmination of three-months of hard work on the part of Marc Wilson, his co-founder, and their team. The restaurant replaces the Fix Bistro, which closed its doors in late July.

"I'm very excited about opening in Cleveland Heights," Wilson told Patch in an interview. "It’s a diverse area. I love diversity. It makes me happy to be in the city." He added that one of his family members grew up near his restaurant, giving him an extra connection to the area.

The grand opening ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. The restaurant's address is 2195 Lee Road.

Wilson is asking customers to be patient over the weekend. He's expecting a massive turnout. "We love that we’re going to be very busy. We have a strong following. People should expect to have a good time at Elite Bistro."

The restaurant can sit about 50 people. "It will be upscale, but not stuffy. It will be comfortable still. It will have a nice elegant feel to it," he added. Wilson said the cuisine is progressive American. What does that mean for diners?

"We’re taking things up a notch on some classics. For example, we have steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus, but it comes with truffle butter. The potatoes are garlic Parmesan. We’re kicking everything up a notch," he said.

Elite Bistro replaces the Fix Bistro, which closed its doors in late July. Fix Bistro's founder wanted to focus on other restaurant brands, and downsized his portfolio. Wilson said when he found out the Fix's space was available he jumped on it.

Now, diners will have the chance to jump on his cuisine.
