Energy Assistance Expo To Be Held In Cleveland
The event will help Cleveland residents learn how to afford their energy bills.
CLEVELAND β The fourth Annual Energy Assistance Expo will be held Jan. 18 at the Vocational Guidance Services Center. The event offers assistance on energy bills to Northeast Ohio residents.
The event is co-hosted by State Reps. Janine Boyd, from Cleveland Heights, Stephanie Howse, from Cleveland, and State Senator Sandra Williams, from Cleveland. The expo will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During the event, representatives from the Illuminating Company, Cleveland Public Power, Dominion Energy, CHN Housing Partners and the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland will educate attendees on their energy bills and how to set up payment plans if they're struggling to afford their bills.

To apply for the payment plans, residents will need to provide appropriate documentation for each member of their household, including:
- Proof of householdβs total gross income (Paystub, Social Security, Disability, Pension, Annuity Payments)
- A copy of ID (driverβs license or state identification)
- A copy of Supplemental Medical Insurance
- A copy of Social Security Card
- A copy of electric bill
- A copy of gas bill
