CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” Ensemble Theatre will bring the sequel to Eugene O'Neill's classic "Long Day's Journey Into Night" to life. The company will debut "A Moon for the Misbegotten" on March 8 at its Coventry PEACE Campus stage.

The play takes place after the events of "Long Day's Journey Into Night." James Tyrone, Jr. will go to the home of his tenant farmer, Phil Hogan, a salty Irish geezer. Tyrone will meet Hogan's "voluptuous, Amazon-like" daughter, Josie.

"During one moonlit night, as the lovestruck Josie seems to claim him as her own, the truculent, drunken Jamie drowns in a wave of self-pity and remorse. When dawn comes, the moon is gone and so is the man, leaving Josie with a new challenge to her dauntless spirit," according to the play's description.
