This program is about the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain, which is becoming an important destination for modern pilgrimages. The Way of St. James has been a seeker's spiritual path for centuries. It's been named one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites and was declared Europe's first Cultural Route in 1987.
Some area residents who have walked the Camino will be at Mac's to share their experiences. Please come if you have walked yourself or are thinking of doing it and would like to meet fellow travelers.
