Fifth Annual Rebel Army Radio Awards Featuring Young Shon & Referee in Concert Special Tribute to Al Fatz Cleveland’s biggest rap music awards show is back for another year at the Grog Shop. The fifth annual Rebel Army Radio Awards will be hosted by Tha P.O.P. and will pay tribute to Rap Icon Award winner Al Fatz, whose hit song “Came Down” inspired a new generation of rap artists in the city. Young Shon and Referee will serve as co-headliners for the night in concert as the awards show will feature performances by Beautiful the Beast, Mookie Mo’Tonio, J-Queen, Mall Tsunami, Mz Crazy Tee, Phenom, Johnny Rockz, Vega, Mz. Crazy Tee and J-Bou, Scratt. Also in performance will be Sex’E of the D.O.C. Showstoppaz performing music from her ground breaking album “Triumph: The Motion Picture Soundtrack.” Over 30 awards will be given out to Cleveland’s top performers in rap music and modeling. Rebel Army Radio (www.RAR.t83.net) is the only online music station that plays hip-hop exclusively by Cleveland artists. Launching on June 12, 2008, the station has given unsigned artists the opportunity to have their music heard on a worldwide level in one concentrated place.
