Jam Session at NightTown with Heights Students

Jazz trumpeter Dominick Farinacci and a group of stellar jazz musicians will conduct a 3-day residency at schools in Cleveland Heights and at the Center for Creative Arts on the Tri-C Metro campus as part of a new Young Visiting Artists Program at Tri-C. Slated for Nov. 14-16, Tri-C will also host a kick-off jam session for area students at NightTown (12387 Cedar Rd.) on Sunday, Nov.13 at 2 p.m. General admission is $5, but students who are playing will be admitted free.

The residency will culminate in a concert featuring Farinacci and his sextet on Wednesday Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Communty College Mainstage Theatre at 2809 Woodland Ave, Cleveland. Tickets ($25) are available at www.tricjazzfest.com or call 216-987-4444.
