Help celebrate President Garfield's heritage and his 180th birthday on Nov. 19th by hiking from his birthplace in Moreland Hills, Ohio (4350 SOM Center Road) to his burial site in Lake View Cemetery. After a light breakfast in Moreland Hills Village Hall at 8:00 a.m., the 12.5 mile trek will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a walk through Garfield's birthplace. Participants will stop for lunch at The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes. Everyone should provide their own sack lunch, and return transprotation from the cemetery. $5.00 per person.
