Loving Hands Yoga and Reiki, in coordination with Family Connections, is offering a new yoga class for kids! The class is open to kids age 3 and up, and pre-crawling babies. Mommies, daddies and caretakers are also welcome to join in and do yoga with the kids!
Yoga For Kids teaches yoga poses while encouraging children to explore their creativity in an active, fun, and safe way. We use age-appropriate movement, games, music, and quiet time to help children exercise their bodies, strengthen their imaginations, connect with their inner selves, and develop a harmonious relationship with the world around them.
We also teach children how to bring calm to their minds and bodies through breathing and relaxation exercises. We honor the individuality of each child by creating a positive, supportive, and non-competitive environment where we use acceptance and patience to build confidence.

5 week session, Tuesday mornings 11:15 am – 12:00 noon, July 17-August 14. The cost is $60 per family (no limit on the number of kids/family members/caretakers). If you join after the session starts, you only need to pay for the remaining classes. Makeup classes can be scheduled if you need to miss a class. Please bring a yoga mat for each person, and wear comfortable clothing that allows movement.
