Free Donuts At Anti-Drunk Driving Event In Cleveland Heights
The DONUT Drink & Drive event promotes safe driving...and promises sweet treats for participants.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Cleveland Heights police are hosting a "DONUT Drink & Drive" event on Friday.
From 10 a.m. to noon, residents can go to Bryan's Marathon on Lee Road and sign a pledge to not drink and drive. In return for signing the pledge, residents can get a free donut.
The event will be done in a drive-thru style to promote social distancing and healthy practices during the age of COVID-19. Cleveland Heights city officials said on social media the event is designed to promote safety on roadways.

"Cleveland Heights police department prides itself on being active in our community and finding new ways to promote safety," Chief Annette Mecklenburg told Patch. "Investigator Allen, our community outreach officer, brought forward the idea to promote safety on our roads - DONUT Drink and Drive. We thank Bryan, of Bryan’s Marathon for partnering with the City and we look forward to seeing many of our residents there."
Bryan's Marathon is located at 2294 Lee Road.
