Free Meals For CHUH Students Over The Summer
The school district will offer breakfast and lunch to students over the summer months.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β The Cleveland Heights-University Heights (CH-UH) Schools is doing what it can to fight hunger among children in the area. The district will offer free meals to any CH-UH students over the summer months.
Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All meals will be served Monday through Thursday. No meals will be served on Friday or over the weekend.
Noble Elementary's summer meals program will start June 5 and run through August 3. Gearity Professional Development School's program will start June 5 and end July 20. Monticello Middle School's program will start June 12 and run through August 3.

The meals are available to students regardless of what school they attend, so students do not need to attend the school offering the meal.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have stated that nutritious eating has myriad benefits for children. Cognitive development, including memory and improved mood, have been linked to healthy breakfasts.
