Free Parking In Cleveland Heights On Small Business Saturday

You can spend the saved quarters at one of Cleveland Heights' many local businesses.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — To celebrate Small Business Saturday this weekend, Cleveland Heights is doing away with parking meter fees, temporarily. There will be free parking at all city meters, all day.

The city hopes that by temporarily getting rid of parking fees, more people will go out and shop at local businesses. In Cleveland Heights, there's plenty of stores to choose from and plenty of districts that will be hopping.

"So save your quarters and spend some extra time visiting all that Cleveland Heights has to offer," Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg said on NextDoor.

Shoppers should visit Coventry, Fairmount and Lee Road districts to hit a bunch of shops at once (and where parking fees will be abolished for the day). As a Heights resident, I know Saturday will be a busy day, but I'm going to try and hit as many local stores as I can. I hope to see you all out there.
