Kids & Family
GSK Science in the Summer
Tuesday, Jul. 7, 9, and 14 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Heights Libraries - Noble Neighborhood Branch

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History presents this special program at all our branches. Through hands-on experiments, young chemists will learn what matter is and that it is not always the same. They will observe physical and chemical changes with fun experiments like turning pennies golden, making crystals, and watching popcorn “dance.” Students also will watch how dry ice can instantly freeze objects – and make a banana hard enough to hammer nails! They’ll test acids and bases and make chemical compounds, just like real chemists! For children grades 2-6. Registration starts June 23.
