Gun-Toting Men Rob Group In Cleveland Heights
Five people were sitting on the porch of a Lincoln Boulevard home when two men with guns robbed them.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β Five people in Cleveland Heights were robbed by gun-toting men on Sunday morning. Police said the suspects stole wallets, credit cards and money from the group.
The robbery happened in the 3000 block of Lincoln Boulevard at 1:15 a.m. Five people were sitting on the front porch of a home when two suspects walking nearby pulled out handguns and approached them. The suspects demanded money from the group.
The group handed over their wallets, with credit cards and cash inside, and the suspects ran off. No one was hurt during the robbery.

Cleveland Heights Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg said a K9 was brought in to track the suspects, but the pair of thieves were not found. Detectives are now investigating the incident.
"It is also worth noting that there have been no other robberies reported in the area with a similar motive," Mecklenburg said.

The suspects were described as men in their late teens or early 20s. They were between 5 feet 8 inches tall and 6 feet, with medium builds. One suspect was wearing a red hoodie and the other was wearing a black hoodie. Both men's faces were obscured by skeleton masks.
Mecklenburg said police patrols in the area will be stepped up and anyone who sees suspicious activity should contact officers immediately.
