Gunshots Fired At Lee Road Home On Sunday Morning

Cleveland Heights police are investigating after several shots were fired at a Lee Road home on Sunday.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Several shots were fired into a house on Lee Road on Sunday morning, police confirmed.

Just before 6 a.m., gunshots were heard in the 2300 block of Lee Road. The shots were directed at a home in the area.

Two people were sleeping inside the home, but were not hurt, Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg told Patch.

Officers searched the area for suspects but did not find the shooters.

"It is believed that this was not a random act but rather this house was targeted," Mecklenburg said.

Detectives are still investigating the shooting. Police said they will provide updates when they are available.
