Grab a picnic basket, fly a kite and enjoy a family day on the Lake Erie waterfront on June 30, 1-4 p.m. The event will take place on the open lakefront property, 18485 Lake Shore, Cleveland, adjacent to Hospice of the Western Reserve. (Parking next door at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School.) Fly a kite to honor a loved one while benefiting hospice patients.
Free famly fun for everyone, whether or not you purchase a Tribute Kite! Activities will inculde kite demos, free ice cream, sidewalk chalk art, live animal exhibits, superhero characters, self-guided garden tours and more! Choose from adding your loved one’s name to the tail of a Tribute Kite for $25 or sponsoring an individual kite for $100. Each gift of $25 will be acknowledged by writing a loved one’s name on the tail of a Tribute Kite. Dozens of Tribute Kites will be linked together and flown together in an arc, a symbol of hope.
