Members of the Heights Community Congress Board of Trustees enthusiastically endorse the passage of Bond Issue 81 to support the renovation of Monticello Middle School, Roxboro Middle School and Cleveland Heights High School. The need has been well documented. Renovations are needed to remedy the outdated, inefficient and deteriorating facilities. The funds generated by the bond issue will be used for the first phase of a K-12 comprehensive facilities plan that a broad based citizens committee spent three years developing.
Passage of the bond issue initiates steps to provide students in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School district an instructional environment in up-to-date classrooms and science laboratories utilizing current technology.
