Heights High Football Players Sign To College Programs
Heights High seniors Kylen McCracken and LeMaro Smith Jr. joined Division I programs this week.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β Heights High seniors Kylen McCracken and LeMaro Smith Jr. will both be playing college football. The two players signed letters of intent Wednesday, during the NCAA's early signing period. McCracken will be staying in-state, at Ohio University, while Smith will head to the University of Buffalo.
McCracken is a six foot four inch defensive lineman. He weighs a mature 285 pounds, according to Ohio University. He also spent time as a wrestler at Heights High and was a team captain for three seasons.
Smith a six foot three inch wide receiver and clocks in a 205 pounds. He was an honor roll student that played multiple positions for the football team. He notched three interceptions in a game against Lake Catholic this season. He is also a member of the school's basketball team.

Meanwhile, Smith and McCracken's teammate Tyreke Smith, the Ohio Defensive Player of the Year for Division I football, is still uncommitted. He has said he will announce his school selection Jan. 8, at the Under Armour Game.
Still, the Heights High football team will have at least three players go on to Division I college football programs next year, an impressive total for any team.
