CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Heights High School senior Rohan Bruce has been named a 2019 National Merit Scholar Semifinalist. She has an opportunity to compete for college scholarships in 2019.

More than 1.5 million students annually enter the competition for National Merit Scholarships. When students take the PSAT they are automatically entered into the fray. Less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors become semifinalists.

Nationally, 16,000 National Merit Semifinalists were recognized this year. Bruce is part of that elite group of students.
