Heights Libraries Up For Regional Award; Votes Needed
Residents will need to cast their vote for the local library system to win.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β The Heights Libraries are competing with five Northeast Ohio peers for the title of "Best Northeast Ohio Library" from Macaroni Kids, a family-centric national publication geared toward moms and civic groups.
The other libraries nominated in the category are Shaker Heights Public Library, Fairview Park Public Library, Parma Public Library and the Avon Lake Public Library. Voting will determine the winner.
"Weβre certainly excited to be nominated alongside such great libraries! Our community is truly lucky to have so many wonderful libraries to choose from, and weβre thrilled that our customers think so highly of us," said Sheryl Banks, the Heights Libraries communications manager.

"We strive to offer the best services we can to all ages, but we are especially proud of our services for children, from storytimes to early literacy playrooms, to get them on their way to a lifetime of reading and learning,"she told Patch.

The contest also features a variety of other categories for voters to consider, including "Best Kept Secret", "Best Mini Golf", "Best Family Friendly Gym" and more.
