Heights Schools Select Superintendent Finalists
Four candidates will be brought to Cleveland Heights this week for interviews.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The search for the next superintendent of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights superintendent is nearing a conclusion. Four finalists will be brought to town this week for interviews with key officials.
The CH-UH Schools released the name of the four finalist candidates this month. Each of the candidates will meet with the Board of Education and the community on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

- Kristin Barker, Assistant Superintendent and Director of Secondary Education for Whitehall City Schools;
- Community meeting held Wednesday, March 6
- Felisha Gould, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District;
- Community meeting held Monday
- Elizabeth Kirby, Chief of School Strategy and Planning for Chicago Public Schools; and
- Community meeting held Friday
- Andrew Koonce, Academic Superintendent of the Achievement and Gifted and Talented Network for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
- Community meeting held Thursday
All community meetings will be limited to one candidate and will be held at the Heights Middle School Wiley Campus cafeteria from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The next full-time superintendent will begin after the current school year is completed. Brian Williams is serving as interim superintendent following the March 4 departure of Talisa Dixon.
