The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools have selected an interim superintendent to temporarily replace Talisa Dixon.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Brian Williams has been selected to serve as the interim superintendent of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District. He will begin work in March, when Talisa Dixon departs for Columbus.
Williams has been a longtime administrator with the district and is the current coordinator of alternative programming at the Options Center. His appointment was unanimously approved by the CH-UH Board of Education on Wednesday night. He begins work on March 4 and will serve through the end of July 2019.
“We wanted an Interim Superintendent who has a demonstrated track record of success in leading our district through transitions. We are excited to have Dr. Williams lead our district, and we are fortunate to have a deep pool of qualified candidates who could fill the interim role,” said Board of Education President Jodi Sourini. “Dr. Williams is a proven leader, an outstanding educator, and someone who is universally respected throughout our school community.”
