Teen Shot Near Noble Road Gas Station In Cleveland Heights

The shooting happened at 1 p.m. near the intersection of Noble and Monticello, police said.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” While driving a car on Noble Road, a 17-year-old was shot and then crashed his car into another vehicle, police announced. The teenager was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, but his condition is currently unknown.

The shooting happened at 1 p.m. on Sunday, near Gas USA, at the intersection of Noble and Monticello. The juvenile was pulled from his car and taken into medical treatment before police arrived on the scene, Chief Annette Mecklenburg announced.

Mecklenburg told Patch on Monday morning that additional information would be forthcoming.

Police said they are in the early stages of investigation and are unable to release additional information. Investigators asked for patience and Mecklenburg promised to share additional information when it was available.
