Labor Day In Cleveland Heights: Trash Collection Delayed
Municipal buildings will be closed, so will the Heights Schools. Here's everything you need to know for the holiday.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Labor Day is September 2. The holiday will impact multiple facets of life in Cleveland Heights, including delaying trash collection by one day citywide.
On Monday, September 2, all city offices will be closed, including the Cleveland Heights Community Center and Cleveland Heights Municipal Court. The planned city council meeting will be moved to Tuesday, September 3.
The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools will be closed for Labor Day.

Trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day for the holiday. That means:
- Monday collection will be on Tuesday
- Tuesday collection will be on Wednesday
- Wednesday collection will be on Thursday
- Thursday collection will be on Friday
- Friday collection will be on Saturday
