CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β€” Leaf collection will continue through December 6 in Cleveland Heights, the city announced. During this period, crews will make bi-weekly sweeps through sections of the city.

Most neighborhoods will see crews collect leaves the day after refuse collection. However, weather and other factors may cause this to vary, the city said.

Leaf piles should be placed on the tree lawn area between the street and the sidewalk. Do not place leaves in the street, doing so is illegal and unsafe, the city said. Loose leaves can create flooding by blocking curb inlets.

Yard waste, leaves and brush will not be collected between January 2 and March 27, 2020, the city said.
