Lee Road Streetscape Project Moves Into Pavement Construction Phase
The first course of asphalt paving is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 7 and will continue through Tuesday, October 11.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH - The city's Lee Road Streetscape project has moved into the pavement construction phase, according to a post on the city's website. That means road closures, delays and changes in traffic patterns.
The street underwent pavement milling earlier this week.
The first course of asphalt paving is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 7 and will continue through Tuesday, October 11. Manhole and casting adjustments will follow asphalt paving. Casting work is expected to take 2 weeks. Final paving will commence after casting work is complete.

While shops will remain open, patrons will have to dodge orange construction barrels to visit the stores they love. The city says there will be ample signage direction drivers where to park to visit the stores.
The city says they're expecting the project to be completed by late Fall. According to the Lee Road Streetscape page, the project is currently slated to conclude Dec. 20, 2016, according to the city's website. The project began May 9, 2016.

The project is being paid for by the Federal Highway Administration, the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works, and the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
