Livingston Taylor Comes To Cain Park August 5

From Cain Park: Singer, songwriter, and storyteller Livingston Taylor takes the stage of the Evans Amphitheater on Sunday, August 5 at 7:00pm. He is joined by special guest and Cleveland native, Anne E. DeChant.

Tickets for this event are $23/18 advance and $26/21 day of show. They can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com (800-653-8000) or the Cain Park ticket office (216-371-3000). Cain Park is located at 14591 Superior Road in Cleveland Heights.

The Free Parking Shuttle Service is available for this concert. The shuttle runs 6-7pm (it does not run during the concert) and up to one hour after the concert ends. Those interested should park at Cleveland Heights City Hall (40 Severance Circle).

Livingston Taylor’s career has encompassed performance, songwriting and teaching. From top 40 hits — “I Will Be in Love with You” and “I’ll Come Running,” to “I Can Dream of You” and “Boatman,” Livingston’s creative output has continued unabated. His musical knowledge has inspired a varied repertoire, and he is equally at home with a range of musical genres—folk, pop, gospel, jazz—and from upbeat storytelling to touching ballads. He is a natural performer, peppering his shows with personal stories, anecdotes and ineffable warmth that connect him to his fans.

Anne E. DeChant is an award-winning Nashville recording artist originally from Cleveland, where she was a five-time Singer-Songwriter of the Year. She has shared the stage with performers such as Stevie Nicks, Norah Jones, Joan Armatrading, Sheryl Crow and the Indigo Girls, and has played venues ranging from the Clinton White House to such storied listening rooms as Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, the Evening Muse in Charlotte, Music Box Supper Club in Cleveland, Kimbro's in Franklin, TN, and Frog Pond in Silver Hill, AL.
