Man Sought By Cops Found Dead On Friday: Cleveland Heights Police
Police believed the man had info on the suspicious death of his girlfriend. He was then found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH β The boyfriend of a woman that died under suspicious circumstances was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, Cleveland Heights Police announced on Friday.
Oscar Allen, Jr., 35, was found in an apartment complex on Loganberry Drive in Richmond Heights. A tipster said Allen might be staying in one of the vacant apartments.
Allen was indeed found inside one of the building's vacant apartments. Police said when they found Allen he had been shot in the head. He was transported to a hospital for treatment, but died from his wound. Preliminary investigation suggests Allen shot himself, police said.

Police believed Allen may have had information on the death of his girlfriend, Crystal Smith, who was found dead in her bedroom on Jan. 22. Her children found her body, police said.

Allen was also wanted for auto theft and a probation violation.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office still has not ruled on the cause of Smith's death.
