Meet Heights High's 31 AP Scholars

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — More than 30 Heights High students were named AP Scholars this week. The recognition goes to students who perform well on Advanced Placement (AP) exams.

AP Program exams allow high school students to possibly earn college credit through performance on selected exams. Two class of 2018 graduates, Melanie Graham and Mary Jane Reinhardt, earned the highest possible distinction for their performance — National AP Scholars status. Graham and Reinhard had to average a score of at least 4 on all of their AP exams to earn National AP Scholars designation.

The majority of the district's other AP Scholars were recognized in other categories. Here were Heights High's AP Scholars with Distinction (students that earned at least 3.5 average on their AP exams):

• Londyn Crenshaw, Class of 2018
• Sylvie Crowell, Class of 2019
• Sophie Gilson, Class of 2018
• Melanie Graham, Class of 2018
• William Hopkins, Class of 2018

• Rosalind Madorsky, Class of 2018
• Jordan Major, Class of 2018
• Schuyler Radivoyevitch, Class of 2019
• Mary Jane Reinhardt, Class of 2018
• Emma Routh, Class of 2018
• Adam Smith, Class of 2018
• Macy Smith, Class of 2019
• Hannah Thellian, Class of 2018

The following students were named AP Scholars with Honor (got an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams):

• Hannah Gilson, Class of 2018
• Maria Tarnay, Class of 2019
• Ethan Zoldak, Class of 2019
