Meet The New CHUH Board Of Education members
Three new members were sworn in and a new president and vice president of the board were elected on Tuesday.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Cleveland Heights-University Heights Schools have three new Board of Education members. The BOE also has a new leadership structure to guide it through 2018.
The new board members were sworn in on Tuesday at the first meeting of the new year. Dan Heintz, Malia Lewis and Jodi Sourini each took the oath of office for the first-time. District Treasurer Scott Gainer administered the oath.
Newly elected Cleveland Heights Mayor Carol Roe and University Heights Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan were both on-hand for the swearing-in of the new board members. Cleveland Heights Vice Mayor Melissa Yasinow and councilpersons Mary Dunbar and Michael Ungar were also on-hand. University Heights Vice Mayor Susan Pardee was also in attendance.

After the oath of office, the board set up its new leadership structure for the year. Returning board member Jim Posch was elected president, while Sourini was made vice president.
Beverly Wright will serve as Treasurer Pro Tem, meaning she'll step in for Gainer if he misses a meeting. All officials were elected unanimously.

The Board of Education held its regular monthly meeting following the oaths of office and leadership vote. The board will meet again on Jan. 23 for a regular work session.
