Meet Police At The New Precinct 3 In Cleveland Heights

Officers will be doing a meet-and-greet, with coffee, pastries and juice, on Saturday. Check it out.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH —Residents will have the chance to meet local police officers on Saturday in the Noble neighborhood. The department is hosting a "Coffee with Cops" event at the newly designated Precinct 3 facility.

Located on Noble at Grayton Road, the facility took a long road to becoming a designated police area. A city official said the building was once the vehicle maintenance bureau, prior to its merging with public works in 2017.

The building was closed down briefly in 2017, before Cleveland Heights Police determined they wanted to keep the police presence in the area. The facility was then designated as a space for the Community Response Team — which includes K9 and Bicycle units.

The facility has also been used for training, according to the city spokesperson.

Residents can see the facility on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. as part of the "We Are Noble" celebration. Coffee, juice and pastries will be served, according to a flier from the Cleveland Heights Police Department. The session should be informal and relaxed.
