Missing Woman In Cleveland Heights Found

Maria Howard had not been seen since September 3.

UPDATE: Following an outpouring of tips, police were able to locate Maria Howard. She was safe and unharmed. Police said she was not the victim of a crime.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH -- Maria Howard, 31, is missing in Cleveland Heights. She has not been seen since the morning of September 3.

Howard left her apartment at about 8:30 a.m. to walk her seven-month old Husky puppy, Caribbean. Police said surveillance footage shows Howard leaving her apartment in the 2800 block of Mayfield Road.

Howard was wearing a blue tank top and black athetic pants. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weigh 135 pounds, police said.

Her dog, the Husky, was in a red harness with a blue leash.

Howard's family said this disappearance is unlike her and they are concerned for her welfare.
